History & Heritage
Opened in 2009, the establishment initially made its mark on the Cabo San Lucas landscape as Capella Pedregal. It quickly established a distinctive presence.
Its arrival remains one of its most memorable traits, accessed via a private tunnel carved into the mountain, a passage that immediately sets the tone for the place.
In 2019, Waldorf Astoria took over management, marking the brand's entry into Mexico with its first resort in the country.
This transition did not disrupt the identity of the estate; rather, it extended it, embedding it within a new interpretation of hospitality that is attentive to the setting and rhythm of the site.
