Vous venez ici pour une chose simple : dormir à deux pas des Champs-Élysées sans subir leur agitation. Au 19 Rue Vernet, l'adresse fait le tri d'emblée. L'Arc de triomphe n'est qu'à 281 mètres, mais l'hôtel garde son propre tempo. C'est ce contraste qui compte, plus que le décorum. Atout France le classe 5 étoiles et lui accorde la distinction Palace ; ce n'est pas anodin dans ce quartier. Le détail que je retiens, lui, est plus concret. Le Guide Michelin cite un pink marble bar et un Flower Spritz servi en signature. En hiver, la même source parle d'un canapé près de la cheminée. Voilà un indice utile : la maison semble mieux pensée pour l'après-sortie que pour la parade. Si vous passez par le Théâtre du Lido, à 185 mètres, vous comprendrez vite l'intérêt. On peut dîner dehors, filer au spectacle, puis rentrer boire un dernier verre sans reprendre Paris de face. L'Arc de triomphe, trait d'union entre le Paris ancien et le Paris contemporain, rappelle le décor. Ici, l'avantage n'est pas la vue carte postale. C'est la précision d'un point de chute bien placé, avec un vrai refuge au retour.
