On vient ici pour une chose rare : dormir à 70 mètres d’une maison qui tient 3 étoiles Michelin, puis partir à pied vers les Baux sans logistique pesante. Baumanière ne se raconte pas comme un simple Palace 5 étoiles. Elle se lit dans un rayon court, presque serré, entre table, pierre et relief. Glenn Viel donne le ton à L’Oustau de Baumanière, dans des murs anciens où le Guide Michelin note une liberté croissante. Ce n’est pas un détail de communication. C’est un indice concret sur l’énergie du lieu. À 61 mètres, La Cabro d’Or prolonge l’écosystème gourmand. À 571 mètres, le Pavillon de la Reine Jeanne rappelle que Frédéric Mistral trouvait ici matière à transposer la Provence. Puis le village prend la main.
