Cheval Blanc Maison Paris, 72 keys facing the Louvre: 3-star Plénitude, Dior Spa, mosaic pool and Le Tout-Paris terrace over the Seine.
Cheval Blanc Paris is a palace hotel set within the historic Samaritaine building on Quai du Louvre.
It faces the Seine and Pont Neuf. The Louvre is around a six-minute walk away.
Yes. Cheval Blanc Paris holds the Palace distinction.
It is a five-star hotel in central Paris, with 72 keys: 26 rooms and 46 suites.
Dior Spa Cheval Blanc offers treatments by appointment, an indoor infinity pool, hammam, sauna and fitness centre.
For dining, the Maison has seven venues, including Plénitude, Hakuba, Le Tout-Paris and Langosteria. Some experiences should be booked ahead.
Cheval Blanc Maison on Quai du Louvre: 72 keys facing the Louvre, starred Plénitude and Hakuba tables, Dior Spa and infinity pool.
On Quai du Louvre, Cheval Blanc Paris reinvents the French art of living in the Samaritaine setting. Seventy-two keys — 26 rooms and 46 suites — by Peter Marino extend the walk toward the Seine and Pont Neuf.
The concierge orchestrates without intruding: a table at Plénitude, brunch at Le Tout-Paris, a Dior Spa ritual late afternoon. That is the essence of a stay in the heart of the 1st: the Louvre six minutes away, the Left Bank opposite, and five tables that make the Maison a gastronomic destination in its own right.
8 Quai du Louvre places the Maison facing Pont Neuf and the Louvre — six minutes’ walk to the museum, three to the river. Le Marais and the Left Bank join in one stroll.
Châtelet (lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14) is six minutes away; Samaritaine shares the same building. The concierge coordinates taxis, private cars and walking routes around your cultural or dining appointments.
Peter Marino composes an immediately readable grammar: generous volumes, noble materials, selected artworks and winter gardens in the most requested suites. Each room extends the experience outward — Seine, rooftops or inner courtyard.
Maison Artisans personalise each stay: butlers for suites, Carte Blanche in-room, Le Carrousel for children. The welcome cultivates discretion and precision, Cheval Blanc signature.
Twenty-six rooms and forty-six suites make an intimate-scale palace. Deluxe and Deluxe Balcony categories open onto rooftops; Seine and Eiffel suites unfold winter gardens and Paris horizons.
L’Appartement and Suite Quintessence host the most demanding stays — volumes, separate living rooms and butler service. The decisive criterion: Seine-side winter garden for calm, or 7th-floor terrace for the view.
8 rooms and suites — our Concierge's priority selection.

A Deluxe Room for up to 3 guests, well placed for a stay in central Paris near the Seine.
Cheval Blanc Paris opened in September 2021 in the emblematic Samaritaine building, between Quai du Louvre and the Seine. Edouard François reshaped the envelope; Peter Marino signed the bold interiors of the LVMH city Maison.
Seventy-two keys unfold across several levels, between contemporary art, brass and crafted light. The Maison does not only host: it lines up five tables and a Dior Spa to become a destination in its own right in the 1st arrondissement.
80 services and amenities — palace essentials without excess.
What the concierge arranges for you, beyond the room.
Six addresses under one roof. Our favourite table wears the Concierge badge.
Blending Absolues on the first floor: Arnaud Donckele’s three-star restaurant, five toques and 19/20 in Gault & Millau.
My tip: for a first visit, ask for counter seats facing the kitchen — the Absolues staging is worth the show.
Gastronomic immersion into ritualised Japan: Hakuba, two MICHELIN Stars, by chef Takuya Watanabe.
Contemporary Italy on the 7th floor: lobster, pasta and dolce vita on the planted terrace facing Paris.
A new-spirit brasserie on the 7th floor: reinvented French cuisine, one MICHELIN Star, spectacular Seine views.
The bar spotlights exceptional cocktails and revisited classics — no reservations, per official policy.
A lush suspended haven on the 7th floor: Le Jardin invites you to savour summer in fine weather, Wednesday to Sunday.
Le Jardin bar extends the summer afternoon between greenery and the Paris horizon — opening depends on weather.

3,0Chihiro K« I emailed the hotel shortly after checkout regarding items I had left in the room, but I never received a response. I also included this in the post-stay survey, yet there was still no follow-up or acknowledgement. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication and the absence of any proper handling or reporting process for lost property. For a hotel at this level, I found this quite surprising and disappointing. It falls short of the level of service one would expect from other luxury hotels. There were also a few other small but noticeable shortcomings. Edited) As I had been working right up until checkout, it is very clear that the items were left on the desk in the room. I was also surprised by the very generic and impersonal nature of the response I eventually received here. I later received a response to the post-stay survey 10 days afterward, but it was similarly generic and did not include any contact information for further communication or follow-up. Had this been another luxury hotel, I believe the experience and level of care would have been very different. »
3,0Joachim Mac Donald-Thomé« I stayed at Cheval Blanc Paris in March 2026 for my 40th birthday. As a repeat guest, and given the hotel’s reputation as one of the world’s best, expectations were naturally high. At a nightly rate close to €3,000, I do not expect theatrical perfection — but I do expect precision. The stay began beautifully. Our chauffeur was waiting immediately after we stepped off the plane, check-in was smooth, and thoughtful birthday snacks were waiting in the room. My wife still says the cookies were the best she has ever had. The hotel décor is exceptional and genuinely memorable. Unfortunately, several details did not match the standard one would expect. The gym, while nice, had a treadmill placed about 20 cm from a blank wall, facing directly into it, with no mirror or visual relief. Running is repetitive enough without feeling like one is training for a very chic interrogation. Breakfast had a lovely setting with views over Paris, but service left room for improvement. We had informed the hotel in advance about our allergies, yet were immediately brought standard pastries and bread we could not eat. At this level, those details should be anticipated so the guest does not need to manage them. Some à la carte orders were also mixed up between tables. I had requested chia pudding for the next morning, which the team said they would prepare; instead, I received yogurt with dry chia seeds sprinkled on top. Technically chia was present, yes. Spiritually, pudding was not. The most disappointing issue was departure. The night before checkout, I called to confirm our flight details and arrange the included chauffeur service. The call ended clearly with “everything confirmed.” The next morning, no car was ready. Staff did scramble and arranged transport quickly, but it was not the same quality as the arrival, and the mistake caused unnecessary stress as we nearly missed our flight. After checkout, we shared this feedback privately through the hotel’s standard request. To date, we have received no reply. Mistakes can happen, even at top hotels, but true luxury is also shown in how feedback is acknowledged. I may sound a little entitled, but luxury hospitality is built on expectation. Arriving on my 40th birthday as a repeat guest, no upgrade or special gesture was offered. Of course, no guest has a right to one — but if there is ever a moment to create a little magic, a milestone birthday seems like a good candidate. Overall, Cheval Blanc Paris is beautiful and has moments of excellence, especially the arrival, design, and room touches. But for its reputation and price point, the service should feel effortless throughout. On this occasion, it felt like world-class potential, with some important details still needing to catch up. »
